Pazuzu the Divine Exorcist metal print by Ptahmassu Nofra-Uaa.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description

Pazuzu was both venerated and feared within the pantheons of the Mesopotamians, Assyrians and Babylonians, and functioned from his very beginnings as an apotropaic domestic spirit-deity, whose spheres of influence were especially bound to the protection of the home from malign influences and hostile personages.


As a controller of the often unruly winds and the noxious spirits that were known to dwell within them, Pazuzu was hailed as the king of the wind-demons, meaning to the ancients that he had ultimate power over the machinations of these beings and the element in which they dwelt. It was specifically the West wind to which Pazuzu was assigned, though his authority extends not only to the four winds of creation, but also to mountains (which he may cause to quake) and weather patterns.

Ptahmassu Nofra-Uaa

Ptahmassu Nofra-Uaa is an internationally recognized artist, writer, human rights spokesperson and spiritual teacher, whose scholarship and vision have been noted by significant members of the metaphysical and cultural arts communities. Born in San Diego, California into a family of artists, he began at six years of age to receive instruction in figure studies, watercolor technique, and Old World oil painting methods from his father, an accomplished portrait and landscape painter.
